Meet the Maker
I found a small online community and began to learn from books and others who were experienced. I read for six months before I felt I had enough knowledge to safely make my first batch. My first batch I scented with a blend of spearmint essential oil and cherry fragrance oil.
Now, over twenty years later, I have made the leap and am making soap full time.
I am also an avid herbalist and am bringing more of that aspect into my soapmaking and bath and body products. I love learning and experimenting. I still have that sense of awe; soapmaking is a wonderful alchemy that is part magic and part science. And I hope you experience the joy I feel when I make my goods. I truly want to bring to your every day life a product that is beautiful to look at and a pleasure to use.
